The performance focuses on the comparison between material and virtual work of abstract painting on sheet metal and the corresponding projected image and modified over time based on sound events that interact in space.
The work itself becomes a real musical instrument when struck, changing in real-time visual events immaterial work.

Fabio Volpi (aka dies_) è nato nel 1971, formatosi in un primo momento come grafico visivo ha poi iniziato a studiare architettura al Politecnico di Milano e si la laurea nel 1998 all'Università EPFL di Losanna in Svizzera.
